The Hyde Park Charitable Foundation has been established to raise monies for worthwhile charitable, civic, educational and social projects within Hyde Park. The Foundation is partially funded by an Annual Golf Classic held in the fall each year at George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park and a Deep Sea Fishing Tournament held every summer on Cape Cod. The monies are used to provide college scholarships for Hyde Park/Readville residents, donations to the Hyde Park Food Pantry, Hyde Park YMCA, "Care about Kids" Toy Drive, Home for N.O.W., Cappy's Memorial Scholarship Fund, and Hyde Park Lions just to name a few. Since 1993, the Foundation has awarded 80 scholarships, totaling $40,250, to high school seniors who reside in Hyde Park and has contributed nearly $70,000 within the Hyde Park Community.

The Hyde Park Cooperative Charitable Foundation is a nonprofit, private, tax exempt subsidiary of the Hyde Park Cooperative Bank formed under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
